Be Extra Careful!

According to an article I read in Sunday's paper and found on-line at Articlesbase,
people who think coffee will 'sober them up,' are mistaken.  It can in fact lead to what some researchers are calling "toxic jock syndrome," where an individual drinking a combo of the two has an impaired judgment higher then someone who has only had alcohol.  Dr. S. Lipshultz, of the U of Miami Med. School has found some users will take higher risks because their perception of their limitations(drunkenness), are more highly distorted when caffeine is added to alcohol.  The caffeine gives the drinker a  false feeling of soberness and consequently  the person will, in some cases,  drink even more.  The article goes on to warn drinkers of canned caffeine/alcohol drinks in particular.  One drink, Four Loko(23 oz.), is the equivalent of two cups of coffee and four or five beers.  Dr. B.Goldberger, prof. of  toxicology at the U.of Florida says one can of Four Loko in a 115lb. female has resulted in a blood-alcohol level of  0.15, or nearly twice the legal limit in Florida.  It's known locally(in Florida), as "blackout in a can."  Another study done in Florida interviewed college students leaving bars where mixed alcohol and energy drinks were served and found that those who had only alcohol weren't as intoxicated as those who had the alcohol mixed energy drinks.  I believe Red Bull and vodka are the popular drinks where I'm from, so watch out, the police are out there looking for DUI drivers, especially around the sports bars during the NFL playoff season.
If you've read this far, you're spending way too much time at your computer, and if you are on it several hours a day anyway, I found a web site where you can make some extra money with a bare minimum of time spent, so you can get back to surfing.  Here it is,  Cash Crate,
